My name is Alexander Berg and I work as a Cinematographer and a camera operator but most of all a storyteller. For the past 10 year my sole focus has been storytelling through moving images.

 

There's nothing that makes me feel as fulfilled as when I work creatively and I’m coming up with ideas, questions and moods for images. Filmmaking gives me the chance to create something out of nothing and know that there are no rights or wrongs as long as you can confidently answer why.

 

Originally from Varberg on the Westcoast of Sweden. I have traveled a lot and lived in a lot of different countries but I am currently based in Stockholm.​ I have studied film for a year in California as well as two years in Sweden. Right after my studies I started working in the film industry as a camera assistant and now work with a mix of 1st AC, camera operator, drone photography and cinematographer.  

 

I’m always curious to try new techniques and push the way I use light, composition and movement to emphasize a story. If there is anything I’m passionate about it’s to communicate a certain emotion or feeling of a story and that’s where I start looking when I come up with my ideas.
